Living a Positive Life

If someone would have told you ten years ago that you could change your life just by thinking positive thoughts would you have believed them? If you were told ten years ago that you could create the world around you with the flick of a thought would you have believed that?

The fact is that the answer to this question would probably be no. However, we know more now, we are aware of the possibilities and not only that we actually have the process down pat on how to make this happen. It's not a vague concept or fly by night proposition, it's real and very powerful.

It may seem quite strange when you begin as you actively monitor all of the words that you speak and the random thoughts that flash through your mind every couple of seconds and the realization of just how often you are speaking harshly about yourself and your life. Even saying something negative with an ironic laugh is still negative speak and still garners the negative responses in your life.

The more that you practice mindful awareness the easier it becomes to adjust your mind thoughts and guide them towards the positive. It helps you to stay in the moment, it helps you plant more appealing thoughts seeds for the future and it assists you in clearing your mind of extraneous chatter.

This doesn't mean that you are not aware of issues that need to be dealt with, not at all, what it does do is to allow your mind to go to a course of positive action for a solution instead of down the path of uncertainty with what ifs, fear, worry and concerns. With practice and mindful attention you can turn things around quite quickly so that you will be planting positive seeds for your future and your world.
