Gaia VII

Every animal on this planet from the tiny shrew to the opossum, raccoon, the mouse, the rat, all the way up to the mighty Elephant were created for this planet and have a reason for being here. They eat bugs, clear the ground of death, aerate the soil, plant trees, fruit and flowers, I mean they have a valid reason for existing here. The bugs would be unbearable if even one of these tiny creatures becomes extinct.

It's important for us to begin to value the creatures on this planet, they are not annoyances, they are not unnecessary, they are extremely important to all of the spokes of the wheel. They are an intricate part of what makes this planet work so that we don't have to worry about it. They deserve to be able to live and do what they were born to do without harm and destruction of their homes and food supplies. It's time to wake up and understand that our lives extend beyond the four walls that we spend our days in. There is a whole world out there waiting for us to save it!
