Mabon Blessings

Mabon September 21st - 22nd

This is an ancient Druid celebration of The Green Man and the Goddess. Fall is the end of the growing season and time to harvest the last of the years crops to get ready for winter. It is the time in the Wheel of the Year when night and day are of equal length right before the night begins to get longer than the day. In Druid tradition it represents the time when the Goddess passes into crone and the God prepares for death, but he will return again in the spring.
