Perthro – “Per-throw” Meaning: Unknown

Perthro is a very interesting rune as even rune scholars don't completely agree on the meaning, as Perthro is not a recognized word but many do agree that the image of the rune resembles a cup. In ancient times, warriors would use a "dice box" to draw lots to determine the outcome of battle. So this rune was said to represent this seeking information of the unknown outcome, as well as, trying your luck with the games of chance.

It is a rune of the unknown when you are in a place of karma or destiny where random events move you along your path to where you are supposed to be. Changes are happening whether you are aware of them or not and Perthro commonly indicates positive changes, although in karma it is never so black or white. It is the law of cause and effect where your actions, or your choices, actually create the path and the outcome as nothing is really fixed yet.

Things are not what they seem as you navigate this path but you should still go for it! Things are falling into place and you are at the right place at the right time, of course, because that is how karma and destiny work. There may be unexpected success and positive outcomes, for some it may even be the birth of a new idea. It's time to expect the unexpected!
