Weekly Rune Readings 11/26/18-12/02/18

The rune of the week is Nauthiz which is translated as "need or want". Need and want can be a double edge sword of positive and negative energy. When I think about this rune it really all comes down to perspective when it comes to wanting something or needing something. Your perspective is what turns something in to a positive or a negative. For instance, you need air, you need food, you need water and shelter, these are true needs and when you don't have them they can cause a huge detriment to your health and well being and can cease your life all together. However, people may feel they "need" a new car, they may "want" love, they may feel a lack in any number of areas of their life none of which will cease their existence but may cause someone to feel that they have a shortage of something in their life. This week will be a time to go deep and look at these needs and wants. There is a great possibility that what you are really seeking is a deeper spiritual awareness that you are trying to feed with material things.
