Weekly Rune Reading

This week we have the Thurisaz rune which translates to "Giants", strong one, resistance and the God Thor. This weeks energy is all about change, of course, and the sacrifices that one must make in order to make progress. When you look at the big picture of life in retrospect, I'm sure you have at least once or twice said, "wow, I'm glad I finally did that or I wouldn't have what I have right now". It's like a thorn in a beautiful rose and even though it causes pain the rose is still intoxicating. There have been so many changes the past couple of years and they have all been necessary for enlightenment both physically and spiritually. Think of it as a lesson that must be learned in order to get through to the other side and to the reward for a job well done. There is also warrior energy involved with this rune, the

power of the hammer of Thor, that says no matter what you face you are protected. Things that are happening are meant to happen, go inward to the magical protection that resides there and tap that resource.
